Lorraine Chan,
CA
Chief Financial Officer
Lorraine spent ten years working internationally in both emerging and developed markets. Her career path led her to the financial services industry where she worked as a Vice President with JPMorgan, in their Asia region headquarters. As a leader in the compliance and corporate governance function, she managed a team with responsibility for twelve jurisdictions across Asia, meeting regulatory requirements and establishing internal policy. In addition to successfully integrating her team through two major mergers, Lorraine led a number of process improvement initiatives.
Attracted by Conroy Ross Partners’ reputation for integrity, business leadership, and giving back to the community, Lorraine returned to Canada and joined the firm in 2005. Now the partner responsible for the firm’s finance and administrative functions, Lorraine also contributes her broad business experience to the needs of the firm's Business Advisory and Executive Search clients. Whether she is advising clients or managing the financial and administrative affairs of Conroy Ross Partners, Lorraine believes that business success is all about people and providing them with leadership, opportunity and support. This philosophy, combined with her financial and business expertise, has allowed Lorraine to help both our clients and our firm become more effective in shaping and executing business strategy.
In addition to her CA designation, Lorraine holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen’s University. Lorraine currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Calgary Science School and her Community Association.
